This past week the township of Estero rallied against bringing World of Beer to Coconut Point Mall. The free-standing bar law that prohibits establishments of its kind and the rowdiness they present. HOWEVER, we feel WOB would be the exception to the rule as it’s not a bar, but a cultural beer-tasting experience!
With exotic beers on tap from all over the world, the business sets itself apart from other bars and would inspire new beer enthusiasts, and stimulate local economy.
With the veto from Estero, the World of Beer franchise is now focused on Orlando for their next location. The next meeting to discuss lifting the free-standing bar law is November 13 at 8AM at Hyatt Regency Coconut Point.
