30 Days/30 Ways to Challenge Boredom in the 239

Mike Cosden proposed an intriguing experiment. He said,

“Somebody should do a piece where they attend some kind of event here in the 239 every day for a month straight. The theme could be never saying no to a good time, or something like that. They’d blog daily or weekly regarding their activities. I think it would be not only possible, but an entertaining slap across the collective cheeks of the busta’s who say there’s nothing to do here.
Whatcha think?”

I will do it AND IT’S GOING TO BE AWESOME.

All suggestions for activities are welcome, and there is pretty much nothing I will not try. Another component of the challenge will be price – can we find the cheapest and most interesting things to do in Southwest Florida?

OH, we’re gonna.

If I were in Naples, I’d check out the Skunk Ape Observatory thingy, do a putt-putt marathon in Ft. Myers, and stay far away from Coastland Center.

Matlacha has a really good ice cream shop, not vegan but really good. Plus the drive out there is pretty scenic. We packed a lunch and drove all the way out to pine island and had a picnic right along the water.
