There are a few things you realize about Sunsplash when you have not been there since you were 12.
1. You can ride all the slides and cruise the Lazy River three times in one hour – the park is not as HUGE as you remember
2. Cape Coral residents get into the park for $8 from 5 to 9PM ($10 for non-residents)
3. Cape Fear is not scary, it’s awesome
4. There are a lot of inappropriate ways to wear a pool float, and the lifeguards tell you by blowing their whistles
