It’s the end of the semester and despite the flurry of stressed students and impending deadlines, FGCU is dressing quite dashing.
Our survey of the trends on campus include skinny jeans in rich-colored washes, ombre hair, blazers, vintage-style eye wear, moccasins and oxford boots. As the weather cools off, we expect to see more experimentation with outer wear and layering pieces. For the one month you can wear your heavier materials, you have to make it count.
The Eagles exhibited a surprising amount of swag – the boys and girls weren’t shy about posing for our camera. Most of the hip ensembles we approached were worn by seniors, which seemed fitting. Once you’ve had your first few years of sweat pants and flip flops, you naturally graduate to the more put-together options. Looking good, Florida Gulf Coast!
In January, our team will be searching to capture the best-dressed on the main campus of Edison State College. Work the “Florida winter” look, (avoiding the combination of Ugg boots and shorts) and we may stop you to snap your picture!
