Has Rockstardom always been in your blood? When did you realize you could sing?
I actually had a blood transfusion and had rock star mixed in and I realized I could sing or at least attempt to in kindergarten music class with Mrs.Upright.
How did the band Life like the Movies form?
It started in New York and is the product of a bunch of chain reactions, chance encounters and Craigslist. The same way anything starts.
Describe the atmosphere at a typical Life like the Movies show.
Intoxicating and romantic. The level of sex appeal and inebriation is unsurpassable.
What has been your favorite venue in the 239 area to play a show at?

Name a few local performers you admire.
I admire all the local reggae bands in south west Florida. Because I can only tolerate like half an evening of reggae every other week or so and they listen to it each and every time they play. It’s impressive.
What does the future look like for Life like the Movies? Any future tours in the works?
The future looks bright and sunshiny. No tours yet, more recording and local shows; build a really strong local following then branch out from there.
