Southwest Florida’s first and only poetry & arts open mic movement is BACK again so come take a seat or take the stage! This month on May 26th inside Palms Restaurant at the Holiday Inn on 41 across from Lions Park/Lee Memorial Hospital. Doors open at 9pm, show starts around 10:30pm, mic open to ONLY talented and classy poets, spoken word artists, comedians, singers and instrumentalists. Best of all, we give out three beautiful microphone-designed trophies for the artists that the audience chooses as best of night! Ages 18 and up perform, 21 & up to drink, custom 239AA menu available until 11pm, $5 cover at the door (performing artists do not pay cover but donations are accepted). No baseball caps, beach flip flops/sandals, fitted hats or PLAIN black or white tees. THIS IS A CLASSY EVENT, please come with respect and dignity or you WILL be turned around at the door.
